Humanity

The real scarcity afflicting the world is not a lack of resources, technology or knowledge, but the absence of true humanity. In an age of greed, selfishness and indifference, what is most urgent is to recover the essential values that define us as human beings: compassion, empathy, solidarity. Only when we cultivate these virtues anew in our hearts will we be able to face the challenges that afflict us and build a more just and fraternal world. The greatest wealth we need is that of noble souls and awakened consciences.
