Before the development of this interchange the area often suffered from.heavy traffic congestion. Vehicles travelling in different directions had to.cross each other at the same level, which caused delays,accidents and inconvenience for passengers. During peak hours,long lines of buses,trucks,and private cars would create serious traffic jams.affecting both travelling time and fuel consumption. To solve this problem the government took the initiative to upgrade the junction in a modern interchange.
