Hello everyone I am Jakia Simi from Bangladesh. How are you all?I hope you are well.Today’s video I have shared a simple recipe of my lunch.The recipe is about potol bhaji.
Potol bhaji also known as fried pointed gourd is a popular and simple dish in
bengali cuisine.Potol is a green vegetables that is widely available in South Asia and loved for It's soft texture and mild
flavor.This dish is especially common in everyday meals because it is easy to prepare and requires only a few
ingredients. To make potol bhaji fresh potol are first washed and lightly scrapped to remove the outer skin.Then they are cut into.halves and slices depending on preference. The cooking process usually begins by heating oil in a pan.Mustard oil is often used as it adds a rich and traditional flavor. Common
spieces turmeric powder, chilli powder, salt and sometimes a pinch of cumin powder are used.The potol is then cooked in medium heat,stirring occasionally , until it becomes soft inside and slightly crispy on outside.The golden colour and aroma make the dish very appealing. Potol bhaji is usually served with hot steamed rice and lentils,making it a
comforting and healthy meal.It is rich in nutrients and easy to digestion,which make it suitable for all of ages.Despites it simplicity the dish carries a homely and traditional taste that reminds many people of family meals.
