How to fix WMI Errors in windows
Many of you, but specially sysadmins have run into WMI Issues in windows.
Those are very common in windows, and they are the result of an inconcistency in the WMI Repository.
Luckily, there is a rather easy solution -
Run CMD as administrator and type the command:
winmgmt /salvagerepository
After a while, you will receive a message that the WMI Repository was salvaged successfully. A restart is not required, but advised.
Feel free to contact me if you get stuck :)
Enjoy,
Simba.
