The woman and the fish (oil on paper)

Hello hivers, an happy Monday to you all!
I hope you spent a nice weekend and a quiet start of a new working week. I spent my Sunday with my hubby and my furry friends at home, because outside it was too hot to enjoy our free time. ❤️
The same today, outside it's really hot and so I went outside to buy some tools for my artworks soon in the morning, when the air was cooler than now.
As usual I woke up soon to work with my brushes and colors during the first hours of the day when the city is still silent and quiet around me.
I started a new canvas, but now I'm here to show you a fast simple painting I did to exercise my hands and my mind:

As you can see, I painted one of my usual women with rounded head and large eyes. I painted some little fish on a side of her head, because at now I feel myself full of swimming fish in my mind couse the hot temperature. 😁
It's an oil colors painting on 200 gsm paper and, like I use to do when I share a new piece with you, I took some pics while I was painting it so you can see the process too:
