A new woman portrait (oil on paper)

Hello hivers, an happy Thursday to you all! Another sunny hot day here and the Summer is in the air now.
My furry friends Nanny and Bimba (with their friend Nerone 😺 ) are sleeping in my backyard, under the shadows of the large branches of my plum tree. Tomorrow I'll cook some other jars of plum jam, because the branches are still full of fruits ready to eat.

This morning, as usual, I woke up soon to work on a new artwork during the first (and cooler) hours of the day.
Yesterday in the afternoon, while my hubby Hive account@paolobeneforti was teaching to the students of the art class inside our lab room, I started a new artwork. This morning I gave it the last touches to it so now I can show you the final result:

The subject of this one is a woman with dark gray hair and a dress full of dots in the same shades of colors of the background.
It's an oil colors painting on 200 gsm paper in A3 size and, like I use to do when I share a new piece of mine with you, I took some pics while I was painting her so you can see the process too:
