Venus

Venus is the second planet from the Sun and Earth's closest planetary neighbor.
It's a cloud-swaddled planet named for a love goddess, often called Earth's twin.
All told, Venus is a planet full of extremes. It possesses the thickest atmosphere of any rocky, terrestrial world knows.
Despite such extremes, researchers have long wondered if organisms could exist in the upper cloud layers of Venus, where more clement conditions can be found.
