Our RUST Server is Back!

Rust Warfare Elite Has Reopened on a New Host

We announced about 6 months ago on Steemit our opening of our modded RUST server called Rust Warfare Elite but due to some hardware issues we had to sadly close shop around January of this year.

I happy to announce we revamped it through establishing a good relationship with a very decent host. We are also now upgraded to 64gb of ram and also cpu is top notch. This means we can push the limits much better than ever before, which we needed seeing I do new custom maps every month for our server so players have a different atmosphere to explore.

We have dropped the server from being just a 2X modded server. Rust Warfare Elite is now called Rust Warfare Elite HzX due to some hybrid elements to increase gather rates more dynamically.

z = Zombie by the way in HzX. We don't turn them on during the week but we do have them on during weekends for our players. Big hordes too so you were warned!

In order to increase the gather rates, we now have a mod in place to create special clothing that will increase the rates when a player wears them. We feel this makes things more interesting, some are rare, some will be easy to find. The idea is, theft can take you down as much as raiding so we put this in place as a neat little capture the flag scenario on our modded server.

I created the skins for these special items, we have many more to do but here is what they look like now:

Top that off we added this as a super rare one to find:

This will glow at night unlike the others due to the high gather rate it will give. Plus it gets damaged, unlike the lower tiered appearal.

Plans Ahead

For those of you in the past that visited our server, we want to welcome you to come back and see how much has changed. We are working hard to balance a system unlike many RUST servers are doing, and we have created a full website with forums for every aspect possible we can think of to make this more a community than just some server you pop up in now and then.

We have goals to expand to other styled servers, all hosting monthly new custom maps as well. We may even open an official HIVE account for RWE so we can possibly raise awareness and gather a decent crowd to make our future plans make more sense.

As of right now we are going to soon open a Vanilla+ HC server. HC meaning Hardcore for those who want an even tougher survival challenge than the usual Rust core Vanilla can give. This is in the works so keep up with us to find out more.
