Literal situation: Nike has chosen to have an athlete and activist who spoke out against police brutality and racial injustice as the face of its new ad campaign. Some people are angered by this it seems. In turn these angered groups of people have decided to destroy or vandalize goods they have purchased to send a message or boycott Nike per se.
This has been my social media feeds for a couple days now.
