Sunny Sundays
I think I've found it..
I really don't know what it means or what it is.
I've just noticed a switch. Yes. At 2:39 AM GMT, I @seki1 felt the switch.
Sometimes I do have it. These random bursts of happiness and sunshine after a long drag of tiredness and grey skies.
The odd and surprising bit is that this is starting on a Sunday morning. My least favorite day of the week.
On this day, I get to see the worst of my parents every single morning, unfailingly.
It's so tiresome. Yet here I am, sleep deprived, listening to Epic and somehow happy.
Sometimes the concept of Sunday's is something that has always made me wonder.
Back when I was a youngling, I always wondered if the reason it was called "Sun-day" was because the Sun always shone on that day, and it did.
Until that faithful day when I was in church in the kid's department and heard the pitter patter of raindrops on the roof.
I was distraught, confused and amazed. My rule has been broken, my fellow friends who I informed of the rule in church then looked at me with mockery cause of how wrong I was.
Now at 9 AM GMT, I'm in church and still happy. Low-key suspicious now.
Regularly my Sundays are noted with shouts, curses and swears as my mother rushes us to church as though Jesus is personally sharing bread there😂
I love a calm day. Today was beautiful as there was no rush (or at least no rush directed at me).
Minimal shouts and swears, and I've gotten to church in a nice and happy mood. The first time in a loooong time.
And it is in fact a Sunny Sunday✨
Started this post at 2:30 AM GMT very sleepy and with little to no idea of what I wanted.
I just felt like writing and decided to see where my keyboard would take me.
It is still a happy sunday now at 10:30 AM GMT when I'm about to post it and I'm super excited at how far the happiness in this week/month/year would go.
Sky image was taken by me. Other Image was a screenshot while the GIFS were gotten from Tenor.
