Musical Fervor

It's something to do with the way the music surrounds you.

Sometimes it's about your mindset at the moment that song starts, the instrument you're using to listen to the music, or your chemical balance at the time the song starts (you sober or not)...

For me it can be any of them and sometimes it's all three

Lately though, due to the frivolities of YouTube music, I've been able to listen to live recordings and concerts and feel the music and fervor the crowds who were present there felt...

Burna Boy Tiny Desk..

This mini concert was something that happened close to 7 years ago but till now it's something that every listen is beautiful.

As the mini concert it was, it is meant to be a little gathering with the barest of instruments or edits and see what the artist can do.

So Burna Boy came, with a drummer, keyboardist, trumpet and one backup singer and they rocked our worlds.

The backup singer in particular was the star of the show, her backup helped carry the soul of the song so much that it was clear that she was all Burna needed.

I Shot The Sheriff ~ Ren and the Big Push

This is a song I've most likely shared before but right now it's one that fits into the same scenario.

The crowd was feeling it. The vibes were there and the instruments were beautiful...

This particular song is part of a larger set though, yet it's this song that really was the peak.

Uptown Funk ~ Alvin and the Chipmunks

When you're talking fervor and vibes, a parade is the ideal crowd, and it's a very small amount of crowds that are better than the one seen in the New Orleans Mardi Gras parade.

The Alvin and the Chipmunks performance of Uptown Funk in this parade was beautiful, everything was staged of course; all part of the beautiful show.

Yet, the feel and fervor was real, and that is something that can be felt when you watch the movie, watch the music video scene and listen to the song ✨
