Me When Starting With It

And so for some, some of the big people that we hear, you know, like Amanda Grace and Julie Greene and some of these are some of the prophets who have been in our circle and at the reawakening tours that I just am throwing out there that some of you might know these names. These people have been given the office of the prophet, which means they have been given a public platform and they do speak of future things. They help interpret the times and seasons.

They help to bring God's lens into what's going on in the world. And so that is more of the office of the prophet when he puts you up on a platform publicly and is giving you, you know, he's really giving you that authority to be public. So that's more of an office of the prophet.

But the gift of prophecy is for every single one of us and every single person. And it really comes from working on that personal relationship Jenna's mentioned and really treating Jesus like a friend and meeting with him and talking with him in your prayer time. And we always like to say, go to your secret place.

That's a lot of what I teach in my curriculum, how you create your secret place, which is a space in your mind, like listening prayer is another way to say it in prayer. We're not just doing all the talking, but we're actually listening and picturing meeting with Jesus and listening to what he's going to say back. And this is how we start learning.

It's one of the ways we start learning to activate that Holy Spirit within us, which is the communication line to heaven, which is allowing us to hear the voice of God, which basically boils down to prophecy in many ways that, you know, hearing his voice and hearing what he said. And of course you, you know, people that's a fine line because everyone worries, number one, that it's themselves talking, you know, that's the biggest fear people at least present to me when starting with it. They're like, Jordan, how do I know this isn't me? And that is pure of heart.
