My Third Steemit Birthday!

Yesterday was my third anniversary of joining Steemit. What an interesting three years it has been! I have enjoyed dusting off my writing skills, such as they are, and honing them right here. The freewrite group has been a great source of encouragement and inspiration for me, along with my own private cheering squad consisting of @jacobtothe and @generikat. I have enjoyed "meeting" people from around the world, and finding shared interests with people who are otherwise total strangers. My posts are no longer regular; life has been getting in the way, as I am fond of saying. I often have 2 or 3 ideas for posts rattling around in my brain, but I must find the time to write them down. With that thought, I am going to start another post right now, for which I took the pictures a week ago.
