Our model train adventure - part 33: The vineyard

Next to our wine cellar I built a terraced vineyard. For that I bought the set Grape Harvest by Busch (HO 1199).

It was a lot of work and the parts were very small and detailled.

All grapes had to be hand-painted.

Then everything had to be sticked on these platforms. But these platforms are broader than the terraces I built on our model train layout. So I had to drill holes in the terraces. Then I mounted the vines on the terraces.

So here's the final result. For the stone walls I took photos of real stone walls and printed them on my laser printer.

The result is not 100% satisfying, but for the moment it is ok.
