Was a fun enjoyable movie. Cast was amazing, wish they used Robert Pattinson a bit more, Mark Ruffalo is getting a bit too good at playing characters I hate. Found the pacing of the movie a bit lackluster and overall story felt off and incomplete. I’m not heavy on sci-fi films and didn’t really know what I was getting into so I definitely wasn’t the target demographic for the movie but I still had fun. I’m sure others will love this film a lot more than me, just personally wasn’t my taste. There was clearly alot of effort put in by the effects team but its honestly just abit long and not that great, also the trump bashing was lame and pointless. Highly recommend the Apprentice movie if that is your thing as that's a great take on him, but Ruffalo was terrible in this I think. I wonder after the success of parasite, would this be a better film if it was all Korean actors and not in English. Audiences tend to love films more if it’s portrayed in a different language with a common conversation. In the same light, when parasite showed up to hulu the common viewer hated it cause it wasn’t in English or they had to read in order to under the film. Overall fun watch and cast really carried for me, nothing mind blowing or anything to remember personally.
