Bud: Would it kill you to put out another water bowl? I'm dying of thirst out here.
Me: Elliot will be done in a second, Bud. Don't be so cranky.
Bud: All that backwash! That CAN'T be sanitary. I definitely need my own bowl.
Me: Clean freak, are we?
Bud: At my age, germs are the enemy. In fact, I demand my own drinking AND eating dishes.
Me: You do?
Bud: Can't be too careful. I'm a clean canine.
Me: Does this mean you're going to stop drinking out of the toilet bowl?
Bud: I hate you.
