A couple of weekends ago, Jupyther, the DeFi Solana dApp, distributed the experimental airdrop with its Wen token to test its launchpad before its official JUP token was airdropped a few days later. Last week, ERC404 appeared, it is not an Ethereum standard, it is a development created by pseudonymous «ctrl» y «Acme« coders. It uses ERC721 and ERC20 intending to create a fractonization standard for EVMs. One of the first services to launch a token was Pandora and the market just went crazy.

Whatever ends up happening with these experimental protocols, fractionalization is a very interesting concept as it brings many more options to NFTs such as lending, farming or getting interest through their tokenized fractions.
