Splinterlands: Getting Started with Foundations!

I recently started playing Splinterlands again after a break of many months. I have been playing for over 6 years now, sometimes regularly and sometimes not so regularly.
What I admire about the game is they keep coming up with new options and are not shy of experimenting.
They make sure they keep the gameplay fair to attract new players into the game. This creates higher demand for the new collections and the older collections start losing value.

One lesson I learnt the hard way was to not invest too much into a single collection. I had got obsessed with levelling up all my Chaos cards and when it moved to Wild from Modern then overnight my cards lost 90% of their value.
Now I invest cautiously and don't gop overboard no matter how attractive the collection looks.

With the Wild Pass requiring a season pass to be purchased I have been playing it lesser n lesser.
Modern is a bit challenging for me as I don't have a big Conclave Arcana collection.
Now that Foundations is here I want to start playing regularly again. I can clearly see that the Daily rewards are the best for playing Foundations. Best part is that Foundations cards can be used in Modern format.
Short term mission is build up my Foundations portfolio mainly by reward cards. Purchase from market only if I really like a card.

Currently I am struggling to move higher from Bronze I, hopefully I move into Silver League before end of this week
