Splinterlands: Breaking into Gold II League!

I have started the weekend on a great note by smashing into Gold II League. When I moved from Silver I into Gold III there was a clear increase in difficulty level and it took me quite some efforts to start building strategies that can turn into winning streaks.
The biggest challenge I face is that most Foundations cards are high mana so it becomes very difficult to field a good balanced team in low mana fights.
This is a challenge I never faced in Chaos and Arcana collections as they are full of great 1, 2, 3 mana cards.

Now that I have moved into Gold II it will be very difficult to progress without having the Legendary cards as I see most of my opponents having Legendary and Epic heavy hands.
I have been lucky in getting a lot of Goldfoil cards recently. They have the advantage that they are already at level 3 so I don't have to wait to level up those cards.

As the saying goes "What got you Here won't take you There" so I need to work harder to aim for Gold I.
Time to collect more Foundations Packs and keep collecting more daily rewards
