President Trump declared that he is prepared to close the US borders for illegal immigrants, if the control of this doesn't improve quickly. Trump was full of praise for Italian Prime Minister Giuseppe Conte because of his attitude towards boat migrants.
Russia is sending hundreds of thousands of Syrian refugees back to their homeland because it is safe enough in many areas for the return of a total of some 1.7 million refugees. Russian officials even mention a concrete date for repatriation: 1 September, when the schools in Syria start again.
