Health complaints and chronic illnesses can be caused by radiation from electromagnetic fields (EMF) of mobile and cordless telephones, cell towers, Wi-Fi and electrical appliances. With long-term exposure, these may even cause Alzheimer's, fertility problems and cancer. Epidemiological studies on EMF effects have shown an increased risk of leukemia since 1979. The International Agency for Research on Cancer (IARC) of the World Health Organization (WHO) also assessed the transmission signals from mobile phones in 2011 as 'possibly carcinogenic'. In the Netherlands about 135 children get leukemia every year, or blood cancer. "Exposure to magnetic fields that generate power lines, for example, could be responsible for this. The probability of having childhood leukemia seems to be increased by a factor of 1.2 in children who live within approximately 50 meters of an above-ground electricity line. According to the Health Council, there may also be a connection between magnetic fields and children who receive a brain tumor, although the indications for this are less strong. There are also indications that the radiation from transformer houses increases the risk of health problems in children. One child every two years will develop leukemia, or blood cancer, as a result of such electromagnetic fields.
There is an increased risk and shit hits the fan if children are exposed to radiation for a long time. It must then be a period of at least a year and an average of 14 hours per day. In addition, the transformer housing must be close to a school or house, usually one to six meters. Also the future use of G5 will increase cancer because more and stronger antennes will be needed to operate the system.
