POEM: Burn Letter
Reduce the effort
Half the page
Enlarge the letters
Shrink the stage
Every lobotomized loop
held in a cursive cauldron
my article arrows
flung to other gardens
Turn
Turn
And burn the barn
for all that I have tended
became yesterday's yarn
Curl
Curl
Twist temperatures true
ash and ink stain
the betrayal blue
Rise
Rise
She captures my eyes
I stole Fomalhaut's fables
pinning my prize
And in knowing, oh Spirit
only give my beloved
what she needs and scatter
excess seeds for your covenant
