Planting Fields Arbotrerum Visit Part 3!
It was a beautiful spring day, the spring trees are blooming. The Coe hall mansion offers a glimpse into the history of the Long Island Gold Coast mansions. The inside of the house is quite interesting and historic. Unfortunately we couldn’t take any pictures inside the mansion. Many furnishings were refurnished and collected based on the Foundation's photos, as displayed in many of the rooms.
We took a long loop around to the farther reaches of the property, into the fields where the larger trees are. You can literally walk for hours if you want. This place of nature is huge. Overall the mansion and gardens were impressive. In Summer time I always see bridal pictures being taken here.
At the end of our trip we had a little bonus when this fella crow came literally few feet from us. It was obvious he wanted our nuts he saw us eating.
