Ey, ¿cómo han estado?

Vengo a compartir un poco de lo que han sido mis últimos meses, los cuales considero que han sido toda una completa locura.

Resulta que, hace poco, inicié a estudiar nuevamente, y eso ha agregado un nivel más de responsabilidad en mi vida, al igual que la necesidad de buscar un ingreso extra para poder costear los gastos que genera esta nueva carrera.

Hey, how have you all been?

I’m here to share a little bit about what my last few months have been like—which I think have been absolutely crazy.

It turns out that I recently went back to school, and that’s added another layer of responsibility to my life, as well as the need to find some extra income to cover the expenses that come with this new degree program.

Aunque una cosa me ha gustado y es que me he conseguido con personas que sin querer me han dado una lección de vida, así como me han demostrado que cuando nos proponemos, podemos lograr una inmensidad de cosas y cumplir nuestras metas.

Estando aquí en Venezuela, estudiar es realmente una montaña rusa, ya que te encuentras con profesores buenos, estrictos, profesores a los que les gusta abusar de los estudiantes, así como te consigues con compañeros de clases con los que creas un tremendo vínculo y hacen un buen equipo.

Although there is one thing I’ve liked: I’ve met people who, without meaning to, have taught me a life lesson and shown me that when we set our minds to it, we can achieve so much and reach our goals.

Being here in Venezuela, studying is really a roller coaster ride, since you come across good, strict teachers, teachers who like to take advantage of students, as well as classmates with whom you form a strong bond and make a great team.

Es necesario añadir que muchas veces no prestamos atención a los detalles y es por ello que muchas veces recibimos un golpe de realidad que nos deja como desarmados. También digo esto porque me he dado cuenta de que nunca se puede hacer feliz a todos a la misma vez, así como que no van a estar de acuerdo con lo que siempre opines o compartas.

En fin, en la universidad hay momentos malos, momentos buenos y momentos donde vas a reír, disfrutar, compartir y todo eso quedará para la historia de la vida.

It’s worth adding that we often don’t pay attention to the details, which is why we’re frequently hit with a reality check that leaves us feeling helpless. I also say this because I’ve realized that you can never make everyone happy at the same time, just as not everyone will agree with everything you say or share.

Anyway, in college there are bad times, good times, and moments when you’ll laugh, have fun, and share experiences—and all of that will become part of your life story.

Últimamente he llegado a pensar que no solo se trata de quejarse y quejarse sobre las situaciones diarias de la vida, ya que, si nos enfocamos tanto en los aspectos negativos, cosas malas empiezan a pasar. Sin embargo, también tengo la agradable idea de que uno necesita a veces un espacio para quejarse, drenar y sacar todo lo que se lleva dentro para así sentirse libre, despejada y disponible para que cosas buenas pasen en la vida.

Así que hoy quise dejar registrado este par de acontecimientos en mi vida, para de vez en cuando venir y leer este escrito para recordar por dónde va la cosa, o desde dónde despegué y ver todo lo que pude lograr.

En fin, aún se pueden hacer algunos que otros planes estando en Venezuela y disfrutar de los pequeños detalles de la vida.

Lately, I’ve come to realize that it’s not just about complaining and complaining about everyday situations, because if we focus so much on the negative aspects, bad things start to happen. However, I also like to think that sometimes you need a space to vent, let it all out, and get everything off your chest so you can feel free, clear-headed, and open to letting good things happen in life.

So today I wanted to write down these couple of events in my life, so that every now and then I can come back and read this post to remember where things are headed, or where I started from, and see everything I’ve been able to accomplish.

Anyway, you can still make a few plans while in Venezuela and enjoy life’s little pleasures.
