Mad World
A long time ago, there was a village somewhere on the far side of this world, and within this village, there was a river that provided drinking water for the villagers.
For reasons unknown, the river suddenly changed its nature one day, and from that moment on, whoever drank from it became completely mad. Besides losing their minds, those who drank from this river started looking down on those who had not yet done so, as they pressured them to also drink from the river.
Before long, the wise men and women of the village realized there was nothing they could do; The mad did not acknowledge their madness, instead they blamed the wise for being mad.
In the end, they succeeded in making the wise also drink from the river. Thus, wisdom was replaced by ignorance, and there remained no reason to cure the madness that reigned in the village – as all were mad in the end..
