Mad World
A long time ago in a far away land, there was a beautiful little village in the mountains, and not too far from this village, there was a river that provided drinking water for the villagers.
For reasons unknown, the river suddenly changed its nature one day, and from that moment on, whoever drank from it became completely mad. Besides losing their minds, those who drank from the river started looking down on those who had not yet done so, as they pressured them to drink from the stream of water.
Before long, the wise men and women of the village realized there was nothing they could do; The mad did not acknowledge their madness, instead they blamed the wise for being mad.
In the end, the mad succeeded in making the wise also drink from the river. Therefore, wisdom was ultimately replaced by ignorance, and there remained absolutely no reason to cure the madness that reigned in the village — because in a mad world, the mad are sane.
