A Tradition or Ritual That Means a Lot to you ? That's Christmas.

The tradition which means a lot to me I the Christmas 🎄 celebration were everyone come together to celebrate the birth of our lord Jesus Christ. Christmas is a celebration which all Christians all over the world celebration to mark the beginning of our salvation. It is not only about the celebration of Christ but a means by which friends, family and well wishers come together to all be together in a long time, this is usually a means where individuals exchange gifts.

This ritual means a lot to me because it's the only time I get to be with almost every member of my family, I mean extended family members. I get the opportunity to spend time with my uncles, aunties, cousins and others extended family friends. This is also a period were they are foods in excess, we get to celebrate the birth of Christ in style and also get to visit our friends to share in their joy.

The main purpose of Christmas is to celebrate and rejoice for we have been saved and finally reconciled to God once again after Adam and Eve sined in the garden of Eden. Last Christmas I when to visit my friends beginning from Azuga I good friend who has been they for me. In were I live we exchange gifts from house to house (majorly individuals closer to us). After that we then visit those around our compound to have some good time.

On December 25th 2024 I visit my friend Anthony, he is friend indeed, I shared a meal with him at his home and also talk about how new year was going to be like. This year Christmas is already mapped out, inclusive of the orji festival (colanut festival). So it's going to be a blast with the 13 communities celebrating Christmas and orji at the same time.
