Día de súper que terminó genial/Great day at the supermarket that ended on a high note 🍗😋

Hello chicos, qué tal están hoy? Por estos lados del mundo mejorando poco a poco, y aunque no estoy del todo bien, ayer tuvimos que hacer algunas compras en el súper, aprovechando que al fin nuestro carro está operativo nuevamente, pero una salida que parecía un tanto aburrida, terminó con un plan delicioso, pues al terminar nuestras compras nos fuimos a comer juntos en familia, dando un gran giro a las compras en el súper.

Por si me lees por primera vez, te pongo en contexto: nuestro carro estuvo más de dos semanas parado por algunos problemitas que resolver, lo que nos tenía muy limitados a la hora de hacer las compras, ya que solemos ir a un súper que nos queda un poco alejado, por lo que ir sin el carro es bastante tedioso, así que estuvimos comprando en mini markets cerca de casa, pero entre que todo es más caro y no hay gran variedad, de verdad necesitábamos de vuelta nuestro carrito, y es por eso que en cuanto estuvo listo lo primero que hicimos fue ir a hacer las compras.

Por dicha Río supermarket estaba bastante solitario y pudimos comprar con calma, y lo mejor de todo es que no hicimos cola para pagar porque pasamos directo a la caja, y de esta forma el proceso de pago fue rápido, y como ya se nos había pasado por mucho la hora para almorzar decidimos comer fuera, y por supuesto que para cuatro personas con gustos diferentes esto puede tomar su tiempo, pero entre pizza y el delicioso pollo a la broaster de coromoto, ganó el pollo, así que nos fuimos hasta la zona del guayabal y disfrutamos juntos de un almuerzo delicioso donde Coromoto

Un local nada pretencioso, pero con comida absolutamente deliciosa y una muy buena atención. Y les cuento que no solo venden pollo a la broaster, sino que ofrecen una gran variedad de platos, pero para nosotros sin ninguna susa el pollo es el favorito, así que ordenamos un pollo, y venía acompañado con papitas fritas, arepas fritas y ensalada rallada. Y como siempre estaba delicioso. Esa gente se anota un 10 en pollo frito!!

Comimos rico, hablamos mucho, y disfrutamos de un tiempo diferente en familia, y es que lo que menos se planifica es lo que siempre resulta mejor.

Hey guys, how are you today? Over here, things are slowly getting better, and even though I’m not feeling 100%, yesterday we had to run some errands at the supermarket—taking advantage of the fact that our car is finally up and running again. But what seemed like a somewhat boring outing ended up turning into a delightful outing, because after we finished shopping, we went out to eat together as a family, which completely turned our trip to the supermarket around.

In case this is your first time reading my post, here’s some background: our car was out of commission for over two weeks due to a few minor issues that needed fixing, which really limited our shopping options, since we usually go to a supermarket that’s a bit far away—so getting there without the car is quite a hassle, so we’d been shopping at convenience stores near home, but since everything there is more expensive and there isn’t much variety, we really needed our car back—and that’s why, as soon as it was ready, the first thing we did was go grocery shopping.

Luckily, Río Supermarket was pretty empty, so we were able to shop at our own pace. Best of all, we didn’t have to wait in line to pay because we went straight to the register, so the checkout process was quick. Since it was already way past lunchtime, we decided to eat out—and of course, with four people who all have different tastes, that can take a while, but between pizza and the delicious Coromoto broaster chicken, the chicken won out, so we headed over to the Guayabal area and enjoyed a delicious lunch together at Coromoto.

It’s a totally unpretentious place, but with absolutely delicious food and great service. And let me tell you, they don’t just serve broaster-style chicken—they offer a wide variety of dishes—but for us, without a doubt, the chicken is the favorite, so we ordered a whole chicken, which came with french fries, fried arepas, and shredded salad. And as always, it was delicious. These folks get an A+ for fried chicken!!

We ate well, talked a lot, and enjoyed a special time together as a family—because the things you plan the least are always the ones that turn out best.
