Aceh is in mourning // Among the rubble and tears - One week that turned a city into a Zombie city
Good night to all my beloved hive friends ❤️
On November 26 2025, precisely in the morning, floods hit Aceh Tamiang. Actually, floods hit the entire province of Aceh, but the floods in Aceh Tamiang were the worst, there were many areas affected by flooding, even several villages were declared lost, I have not been able to get 100% accurate information because electricity and networks were completely lost. In my village, the water level reached 3 meters and it has made my entire village a mess.
Before the flood came, it had been raining for 4 days in a row, maybe it was a sign, but no one can predict nature. The flood came suddenly and uninvited and it was enough to make several cities in Aceh Tamiang into zombie cities, there are several reasons why I dare say that some of these cities are now zombie cities, some of which are total power outages, many residents are hungry and thirsty, the smell of corpses is everywhere until looting occurs (due to hunger)
This is the condition of the road when the floodwaters began to rise, but at that time many vehicles were still able to pass and pass because the major floodwaters had not yet arrived. The major floodwaters arrived in the morning, surprising and confusing everyone
After the massive flood swept through Aceh Tamiang, completely paralyzing land access, many people lost their homes and even their families. They were stranded and had only one place to stay, namely the refugee camp. Panic was everywhere, many shops were looted, regardless of who owned them because the most important thing was to be able to eat.
No one can be blamed because this is a natural disaster, I myself felt the impact, my house and all the contents of the house were lost and damaged. It was very difficult to find a network because the lights were completely off and I had to be willing to travel about 1 hour just to be able to get electricity and a network.
And this is the flood condition on the fifth day, many residents' houses are still submerged and who knows when the flood waters will recede. I was in the refugee camp for more than a week, no one dared to go home because it was very dangerous and risky, there was nothing that could be done except to accept it and be patient.
More than hundreds of people have been declared dead and only a few have been found, there are many victims who have not been found and that is a very sad thing in my opinion. Now no one cares about their possessions, houses, cars, motorbikes or even their homes, what they care about now is shelter and food.
I myself have not had the chance to go to Kuala Simpang city, but according to information I received from several residents, in several other villages, the flood height reached 10 meters, but I do not know the truth because this is information that has been circulating by word of mouth.
Life is a responsibility
Be yourself, keep learning and don't hesitate to start😉
Thank you very much for reading my post till the end, I am here to say thank you very much
