System Changed
Hello Zapficers! Today’s Wednesday, yet I’m sharing with you my ZapficMonday entry. I’ve been really busy for the past few days, so today’s the only time I was able to come back here. So much for that, today’s entry will be inspired by something that happened to me before. It wasn’t a nice memory exactly, but it’s probably the turning point of my adult life. Looking back at that time now, I can’t feel that much sadness I felt before…perhaps just a little melancholy.
Ok…enough of that, here’s my entry for this ZapficMonday entry. Hope you’ll enjoy :)
“Your own system betrayed you,” the doctor said calmly as she browsed my medical records.
“What do you mean by that?” I asked.
“You have lupus, and your own immune system is killing your organs.”
A tear fell down my eyes.
It won't be the same.
