Food Delusions
Hello Zapficers! It's Monday again and for today, I’m gonna stray off from the usual tone I use in the recent zapfic entries I made. This time, I’ll try doing a silly short story that somehow resonate to my younger self...in a way that I was once experience those and acted that silly. Times changed and I grew up, but the embarrassment I felt whenever I reminisce those times was still there. So, I’m gonna channel that embarrassment and as much as possible, I’ll try to make a scene that would also emulate that. But of course—it will be in different situation and also if I can, preferably it should be just 240 characters-long.
So here it is, hope you’ll enjoy it :)
"They're zombies! I saw them eating brains—"
"Are you trying to embarrass me in front of the new residents?"
"No, Mom—"
"Is this it? Well, I cooked that for them!"
The child looked at the food. In his defense, it did look like brain. From afar.
