Summer Steps...
So having decided that it's totally irrational to aim for a 10K a day step count i've gotten back into it again, clocking up a 67 day streak so far....
STREAKING makes no sense, as in streaking of the 10k steps a day variety for me personally makes no sense - I naturally get a 10K average - doing more on my 3-4 running days a week, then I usually hit one 10K naturally on a non-run day and the two other non-run days are just naturally lower, around the 5-8K mark usually.
Obvs if I'm on for a naturally low day, making that up to 10K is silly, not too bad if it's an 8K day naturally, just means taking an extra trip to the shop or something like that.
Still silly, but hell it's the streak!
Monthly totals...
You can see I dipped in Jan Feb, March - I'd given up on the streak then, but by May I was back into the idea and it's carried on!
Monthly totals this year...
Just reinforces what's above...
May and June were very good months, my highest for the year in May and good for April and June, both 30 day months of course!
All in all happy walking!
