Birdwatching - 3295๐Ÿฆ

๐Ÿฆ‰ The coal tit or cole tit (Periparus ater)

  • Peri (Greek) very, hugely
  • Parus (lat.) Tit
  • ater (lat.) black, dark

These small birds appear in the forests as soon as spring begins. Yes, they are wintering birds and don't fly away to warmer climates, but in winter they are almost never seen either at park feeders or in the forests as part of mixed flocks. This is strange.

In the spring, their voices are often heard in the forests. However, with the arrival of summer, they disappear again. Only a few birds remain and nest. This is due to their love of coniferous forests.
