🦉 The common chaffinch or simply the chaffinch (Fringilla coelebs)

• coelebs coelebs (lat.) - single, idle, unmarried

These guys are known for their songs. As soon as spring arrives, they're already in forests and parks, and in some cities, even in yards. Since they're mostly seed-eaters, they have no trouble surviving our cold, unpredictable springs. No insects? No problem; they'll find something to eat from the seeds.

They also migrate for the winter very late. I even encountered them in early November, which surprised me. After all, all the migratory birds had already left in September.
