Almahira market is a new market that opened this year. The purpose of the opening of the almahira market is to move the traders who used to be in the Penayong market. This is done to reduce crowds in the Penayong market.
The Aceh government made this decision based on their review so far of the Penayong market, the Aceh government sees that the crowds of the Penayong market can cause problems of space constraints and problems of environmental damage, therefore the Aceh government provides solutions to traders in Penayong.
As for the traders who were moved, such as tailors, fish traders, chicken traders, and other sellers.
