Al principio, era solo un ruido, un zumbido que lo seguía a cada esquina de la casa. Cada día iba en aumento, se hacía más fuerte, más persistente. Era el sonido de una mosca, podía reconocerlo. Era el animal que más odiaba, lo aborrecía.

Intentó matarla con todo tipo de venenos, pero el sonido nunca desaparecía. Nunca la vio, solo podía escuchar su incómodo ruido, cada vez más fuerte, como si se hiciera más grande.

Tras varios días, el dolor de cabeza se convirtió en una migraña insoportable. Decidió ir al médico, el dolor era demasiado grande. Se vistió y, mientras se peinaba frente al espejo, vio cómo pequeñas patas negras emergían de su oreja… de una una en una.

At first, the fly was just a noise, a buzzing that followed him to every corner of the house. Each day, it grew louder, more persistent. It was the sound of a fly—he could recognize it. It was the creature he hated the most, the one he abhorred.

He tried to kill it with all kinds of poison, but the sound never disappeared. He never saw it; he could only hear its unbearable buzzing, growing stronger, as if it were getting bigger.

After several days, the headache turned into an unbearable migraine. He decided to go to the doctor; the pain was too intense. He got dressed, and as he combed his hair in front of the mirror, he saw small black legs emerging from his ear… one by one.
