Siempre sanamos ( Esp/Engl)

Siempre sanamos, y a lo mejor antes de eso nos duele hasta el alma, nos preguntamos a cada rato si va a pasar o no lo malo, si vamos a volver a estar bien o no. Pero luego va pasando el tiempo y las cosas de alguna manera empiezan a ser más sencillas, no sé si nos cura el tiempo o si vamos haciendo cosas en ese tiempo que empiezan a llenar los huequitos en el corazón. Mi abuelita decía que en los malos momentos hay que hacer mucho de eso que nos hace felices, porque lo malo se nos va a olvidando si empezamos a ver mucho de lo bueno en nuestros días. Por eso sólo quiero que sepas que vas a sanar, y que sanarse cuesta, tarda y no se logra de un día para otro, así que no te preocupes ni seas tan duro contigo, date tiempo y sé paciente, porque te prometo que siempre sanamos.

We always heal, and maybe before that, it hurts right down to our very soul; we keep asking ourselves whether the bad times will pass or not, whether we’ll be okay again or not. But then time goes by, and things somehow start to get easier. I don’t know if time heals us or if we do things during that time that start to fill the little gaps in our hearts. My grandma used to say that during hard times, we should do lots of the things that make us happy, because the bad stuff will fade from our memory if we start seeing more of the good in our days. That’s why I just want you to know that you’ll heal—and that healing is hard, takes time, and doesn’t happen overnight. So don’t worry or be so hard on yourself; give yourself time and be patient, because I promise you that we always heal.
