Hay momentos que se quedan para siempre en la memoria, y este fue uno de ellos.

Después de haber asistido a otros conciertos donde solo podía escuchar a mi cantante favorito sin lograr verlo realmente, esta vez fue diferente. A pesar de que los años pasan y mi vista ya no es la misma, pude cumplir uno de los sueños que más había esperado: ver a Ricardo Arjona en persona.

Muchos me preguntan: “¿Con quién fuiste?”. Y la respuesta es sencilla: fui sola, pero acompañada de la emoción y la ilusión de vivir ese momento. Fue una de las mejores decisiones que pude tomar.

El concierto fue en el Polideportivo de Envigado, en Medellín. Comenzó a las 9:20 de la noche y terminó alrededor de las 11:30. Fueron poco más de dos horas de música, emociones y un espectáculo que se hicieron cortísimas. Al terminar, uno solo quería que siguiera cantando.

Todo estuvo perfectamente organizado. La escenografía fue impresionante y el diseño de la tarima era increíble. Las pantallas creaban una ilusión tan bien hecha que por momentos parecía que Arjona aparecía de un lado y, de repente, estaba en otro. Era un espectáculo que sorprendía de principio a fin.

Cuando Ricardo Arjona salió al escenario sentí la piel de gallina. Es una sensación difícil de explicar. Lo vi de lejos, sí, pero lo vi. Y eso hizo que todo valiera la pena. Además, hay que decirlo: a sus 62 años sigue siendo un hombre muy atractivo y con una presencia impresionante. Ojalá todos pudiéramos llegar a esa edad conservándonos así.

Durante el viaje también confirmé algo que la vida me ha enseñado muchas veces. Hay personas de tu mismo país que, al estar en otro lugar, cambian tanto que parecen olvidar de dónde vienen. Y, al mismo tiempo, conoces personas que apenas acabas de saludar y te hacen sentir como si fueran amigos de toda la vida. Esas son las cosas que uno descubre en el camino y que también hacen parte de la experiencia.

Si algún día tienes ganas de ir a un concierto, viajar o conocer un lugar, pero no tienes con quién hacerlo, ve. No dejes que eso te detenga. Disfruta tu momento, vive tus sueños y no le tengas miedo a caminar solo. A veces, los mejores recuerdos nacen precisamente cuando decides darte la oportunidad de vivirlos por ti mismo.

There are moments that stay with us forever, and this was one of them.

After attending other concerts where I could only hear my favorite singer without actually being able to see him, this time was different. Even though the years have gone by and my eyesight is no longer what it used to be, I was finally able to fulfill one of the dreams I had been waiting for the most: seeing Ricardo Arjona in person.

Many people ask me, “Who did you go with?” And the answer is simple: I went alone, but I was accompanied by the excitement and the joy of living that moment. It was one of the best decisions I could have made.

The concert took place at the Envigado Sports Complex in Medellín. It started at 9:20 p.m. and ended around 11:30 p.m. It was just over two hours of music, emotions, and an incredible show that felt far too short. When it ended, all you wanted was for him to keep singing.

Everything was perfectly organized. The stage design was breathtaking, and the entire production was amazing. The giant screens created such a realistic illusion that, at times, it seemed as if Arjona was on one side of the stage and then suddenly appeared somewhere else. It was a performance that kept surprising the audience from beginning to end.

When Ricardo Arjona walked onto the stage, I got goosebumps. It is a feeling that is difficult to describe. I saw him from far away, yes, but I saw him. And that made everything worthwhile. I also have to say this: at 62 years old, he is still a very handsome man with an incredible presence. I hope we can all reach that age looking and feeling that good.

During the trip, I also confirmed something that life has taught me many times. There are people from your own country who, once they are living somewhere else, change so much that they seem to forget where they come from. At the same time, you meet people you have only just greeted, yet they make you feel as if they have been your friends forever. Those are the kinds of things you discover along the way, and they become part of the experience as well.

If one day you feel like going to a concert, traveling, or discovering a new place but you do not have anyone to go with, just go. Do not let that stop you. Enjoy your moment, live your dreams, and do not be afraid to walk alone. Sometimes, the best memories are created the moment you decide to give yourself the chance to live them for yourself.
