Gigabyte Aorus RTX 2060 Super 8GB Install

So I recently upgraded my pc with a new graphics card. As it is one of the newest cards on the market I thought it might be a good idea to do a little opening blog showing the finished install.

A little bit of information is required on why I chose this card. The main reason I chose this particular card and waited two weeks for it to be released is due to the ports on it.

The card has 3 x HDMI, 3 x DP and a USB-C for VR.

It is also a fully customisable RGB card. As my case has a glass side I thought it would look pretty cool and light up my area a bit.

So serious point to note here. The card is huge. Make sure you have room in your case. It also requires a hefty PSU.

My build has a 1000W gold rated Corsair PSU so no issues there.

Once you have installed the Aorus engine that comes on the CD provided you should be good to go. Each fan is fully customisable with colour choices, pulse, static etc.

The fans can be set to passive and will only come on when required. The card even shows you when the fans are not running:

As you can see, I went for purple/pink. I really like the contrast with the white case.

I hope you enjoyed reading. Thanks for the time spared and interest you have shown!

I may do a review later down the line on how it runs some games like Red Dead Redemption 2 which can be a bit of a graphics power hog.

Thanks again!
