I made a braided hair band

Hello everyone needleworkmonday@needleworkmonday,i nring to you all the best wishes for this week.
I can't really say how this day will be but am positive that it will end beautifully.

A friend of mine had requested that i make a hair band for her,but due to how busy i was during the festive season,i had promised her that when i am a bit free I'll try something unique for her.

I decided to create something beautiful,a braided hair band came to my mind but i didn't have enough materials for it.
So i went to the market and got some materials.

Here are the materials i used for the braided hair band

  • One yard of Fabric
  • Fibre
  • Scissors
  • Measuring tape
  • Paper stay

First step
The first step i took was simple,i spread out the fabric on the table,i got my chalk and tape and i started marking out the lines i needed.
I used four and a half inches.

Next step
After that i used scissors and cut it out
I repeated the procedures and i had three pieces of the fabric.

Next step
I was intentional about the four and a half inches i used,i folded the fabric into two and i used the half inches as my sewing allowance.

Next step
I kept sewing till i reached the tip i sew through the tip also

Next step
I turned out the right side of the fabric,i cut out the fibre and put them into each of the long fabric i made.
I filled in the fibre still the end.

Next step
The next step i took was,i started braiding the long three fabrics together.
I did it till the end.

And i joined the two ends together and stitched it

Next step
The next step was to create a bow for the back
I used paper stay to make the fabric firm
I created two pieces and i formed my bow from it

Finally, the braided hair band was ready.

THANK YOU.
