Character Design #23: Tom Fading

Drawn this afternoon straight to ink.

Tom is one of the two central characters of "Fading", my forthcoming book. He's obsessed with the occult and runs a back-alley shop where one might purchase an ancient tome, a ritual implement, or a custom-made spell. He's impulsive and eager to correct any of his many mistakes when the opportunity presents itself.

His design is also a little up in the air. It's changed a lot over time and may change further as I develop the book.

I'll spend this week sharing a few more designs for the main characters of "Fading".
