A Tiny Kitten, A Big Blessing

I just picked this little one
from the street and decided
to take her in and I’m
so glad I really did.
She turned out to be
sweetest most loving cat
I have ever known cute
beyond words and so soft
and affectionate it melts heart.

Just look at that sweet face.
She mixes tabby and calico
soft brown black warm orange
patches spread across her head.
Bright white runs down her nose
and around her gentle mouth.
Her eyes are huge and round
wide open like shiny marbles
of soft green‑yellow full wonder.

When she looks straight at you
it feels like saying thank you
without making even one sound.
Small pink nose and fine whiskers
make her look extra delicate.
At first she was quiet shy
unsure about every new thing.
Soon she learned she is safe
and now she follows me everywhere.

She rubs head against my legs
jumps onto lap right away
purrs loud like tiny engine.
She loves soft strokes on chin
and behind each little ear.
She nudges hand gently if I
stop petting her too soon.
Still young so full of energy
chasing specks, rolling around floor.

She treats whole room as playground.
When tired she curls close beside
soft and warm sleeps peacefully.
Finding her felt exactly like fate.
She was stray looking for shelter
and I found friend I needed.
I give her food and clean water
safe corner and warm bed too.
She gives back pure love and joy.

Not just cat I found outside
but family now here at home.
Every day with her becomes
lighter, sweeter and happier too.
