Slow and Steady Progress

Hello friends! Just a little progress report today, as I am still working on both the rag rug and the knit bandages projects.

The rag rug has two braids sewn in place, for a total of six pairs of jeans cut up (minus the top part around the waist with pockets and such). I am now about to start cutting up more jeans. They are all old pairs I had in my fabric stash for years.

And I finished the second bandage so far. I expect to get four out of this spool of thread, but it looks like I've barely taken any, so maybe I will get more?

I was doing 3" bandages for both of these, so maybe I will do a 4" one next. I'm not washing and maybe blocking them until they're all done.

I am in that strange space where I don't have anything on the needles, as it were. When I finished sewing the last braid onto the rug, I started knitting to finish that bandage. I even need to make more cards for seniors, though I did make a small number of Samhain/Halloween cards earlier and sent those already:

I don't have anything to mindlessly pick up and start working on to keep my hands busy, I need to decide to either cast on another bandage or start cutting jeans or making cards! LOL

We'll see which I choose this afternoon when it is "sit down and craft" time. ;)

Anyway, I hope y'all have a wonderful day and keep crafting! 😄
