To a large extent, it reminds me of the incompatibility problems that we have had on several occasions, both between operating systems, network communication protocols, versions of the same program or manufacturers of computer equipment.

There is a constant struggle for the establishment of the standards of elaboration of all things, when a certain standardization is achieved, the company or group that proposed it or that registered it, seems to gain the benefit of being a reference, also, in some cases , you benefit economically by selling licenses or accreditations so that the rest of the market participants can manufacture your standard or implement it to some extent.

In any case, there are incompatibilities that remain over time, in certain cases I think it is due to a marketing strategy, such as the eternal problem of incompatibility of Apple products with any other manufacturing company, also selling the idea of ​​exclusivity or that having one of these products makes the owner part of an elite.
