Hive Music Festival Week 178 Rond 1 //Baruch Hashem// cover
Hello friends of Hive, welcome to my blog. My name is , and I am truly grateful for life. Life itself is something worth celebrating because many have gone back to the Creator.
For Week 178, Round 1, I did a cover of a song by Dunsin Oyekan. The song was released about 7 days ago. It is a very beautiful song, and there are two words in it that are not in English: “Baruch Hashem,” which means Blessed be the name of the Lord. I really enjoyed the melody of the song and also its progression.
Songs like this one are very good for the soul because of what is happening around the world today. It seems like the rich are getting richer while the poor are becoming poorer. Everyone is searching for a place where they can have peace of mind. I have noticed that peace of mind and inner joy are very important. Any other thing you are pursuing in life that has the tendency to take your peace away forever is better not to have. Because what is plenty of money if I cannot enjoy it in peace?
Notwithstanding, not having money can also take away one’s peace of mind. People always like the part that talks about being rich, but how about being poor? If you remain poor, there are challenges that may arise which you should be able to fix with money, but you cannot because you don’t have it. That alone can take away someone’s peace of mind and in some cases may even lead to death. However, sounds or songs like this one can comfort and relax the mind.
So just as it is good to work hard and make money, it is also important to discover what gives you comfort so you can run to it whenever you need it.
Thank you very much for taking your time to go through my post. May the Lord reward us all.
