I want to sleep and live/寝て暮らしたい

Is there a shortage of participants for this year's Japan Independent Exhibition? As the deadline approached, I was told they were "300 people short," so I helped spread the word on Facebook. There's no jury; anyone can participate as long as they pay the entry fee ,and freedom. However, looking at the website, you can see what the organizing group is trying to say. Young people these days might see it as a "collection of eccentric people." The same goes for the Miyagi Peace Art Exhibition.

I invited one of my fellow artists on Facebook, but she declined. And for her, an other exhibition is comfortable attending. The venue is also the National Art Center, Tokyo in Roppongi, so the difference is clear.

Well, Monday. I went to my usual bakery. They had some piroshki, so I bought it. They might not be uncommon in bakeries in the Kanto region, but they're rare in Sendai. I'll eat them again if they're still available.

Tomorrow, the helper (cleaning ) is coming, the day after tomorrow, I'm visiting my father, and the day after that, the visiting nurse is coming. I'm busy. Apparently there's an event to commemorate the anti-nuclear Miyagi Friday Demonstration on March 1st, so I'm just going to attend the rally at Nishikicho Park and then say hello when the demonstration starts. Due to osteoarthritis in my knees, I won't be able to walk the 30 minutes or so that's the length of the demonstration.

So, I've got quite a lot of errands to run, and I'm kind of tired, so I'm saying I wish I could just stay holed up in Hachiman. As long as I have the internet I won't get bored, so I want to just sleep all day.

Ah, I'm so tired.

今年の日本アンデパンダン展は参加者不足なのですか？締め切り近くなって「300人足りない」とか言われてFacebookでの拡散に協力しましたが。審査員なし、出品料さえ払えば誰でも参加できる自由な展覧会。しかしHPを見るとわかりますが主催団体がどういう主張しているかわかります。今時の若者からは「特殊な人の集まり」と見られているかもしれない。宮城平和美術展とかもそうです。

Facebookの絵かき仲間の1人にお誘いしても断ってくる人います。そしてその人の参加するのは無難そうな展覧会。同じ六本木の国立新美術館が会場なので違いが鮮明にわかります。

さて、月曜日。やはりいつものパン屋さんに行きました。ピロシキあったので、買って食べました。関東圏のパン屋では珍しくないかもしれないが、仙台では貴重。あったらまた食べます。

明日はヘルパーさん(おそうじの)が来て、あさっては父の面会、やなあさっては訪問看護師さんの日。用事が続きます。3月1日には脱原発みやぎ金曜デモの記念の催しがあるらしく、錦町公園での集会だけ参加して、デモが始まったらいってらっしゃい～と言います。変形性膝関節症のためデモの約30分の歩行は無理だからです。

ということで、けっこう用事続きなので、なんか疲れるな～、八幡に閉じこもっていたいと言ってしまうわけです。ネットさえあれば退屈しないから、寝っぱなしで過ごしたい。
