Hanging on dearly to every
beat as the stereo blasted
familiar new tunes from
an old speaker.

The music that filled the air
felt so thick I could wrap my
self with its rap.

Life has now moved past it
for it scratches after awhile,
but the memories it often
left us with can't be scratched
off the timelines of our minds.

Dear old disc, got to love it!
