Hive Open Mic 109 - Paper Kites - Blue Winged Kite/Mavi Kanatlı Uçurtma by @okayozdemiroglu

Greetings to the entire #hiveopenmic family. During the week, I had the opportunity to listen to many beautiful music shared in the community. For the theme of the 109th week, "Paper Kites", I tried to prepare the song "Blue Winged Kite", the lyrics of which were written by Gülbahar ULUER, and which has a beautiful composition. While I was looking for a theme suitable for the song, which I had the opportunity to listen to a few times by Onur AKIN in the past years, I found the version interpreted by Suavi (Mehmet Suavi SAYGAN) and I liked it very much. I wanted to share this wonderful music with you. The music is a bit sad, but I think that kite has always reminded me of imagination and freedom since I was a little kid. Even though the lyrics seem negative, when I think about it, it tells me this week's theme very well. I hope that the freedom we feel when we see our kites flying with our dreams that we can't put down on paper or not, will always be with us.

Tüm #hiveopenmic ailesine selamlar. Hafta boyunca toplulukta paylaşılan birçok güzel müziği dinleme fırsatı buldum. Ben de 109’ncu haftanın teması “Kağıt Uçurtmalar” için sizlere sözleri Gülbahar ULUER tarafından yazılan ve çok güzel bir bestesi olan “Mavi Kanatlı Uçurtma” şarkısını hazırlamaya çalıştım. Geçtiğimiz yıllarda Onur AKIN’dan birkaç kez dinleme fırsatı bulduğum şarkıyı temaya uygun bir müzik ararken Suavi’nin (Mehmet Suavi SAYGAN) yorumladığı versiyonunu buldum ve çok beğendim. Bu harika müziği sizlerle de paylaşmak istedim. Müziği biraz hüzünlü, ancak uçurtmanın bana küçük yaşlarımdan beri hep hayal etmeyi ve özgürlüğü hatırlattığını düşünüyorum. Şarkı sözleri olumsuz gibi görünse de düşündüğümde bana bu haftaki temayı çok iyi anlatıyor. Umarım kağıtlara döktüğümüz ve dökemediğimiz hayallerimiz ile uçurtmalarımızı uçarken gördüğümüzdeki hissettiğimiz o özgürlük hep bizimle birlikte olur.
