Rag Day: Still Enjoying My Student Week

Hello, everyone.

I welcome you to my blog. Many of us were once college students, and some still are. In college, we all know the student's week comes with so many extracurricular activities ranging from sports, cooking competitions, dancing competitions, parties here and there, award nights, induction of all 100-level students, and so many other activities that take place in the second semester of every session and mostly during the student's week as it's considered a lecture-free week.

During the Student's week, every day is packed with a package to make it fun and memorable only if you participate. I have been in school for almost four years, and I never participated until now, in my final days as a college student, but I never experienced it, so I decided to at least come out and feed my eyes and at least have a story to tell after college.

Wednesday was old school day, after which I went to play football and afterwards headed straight to the venue of a cooking competition to cheer and support my coursemate, who was a participant. Though I left before the end of the competition, it was fun to see talents and chefs compete for the award. There were lots of activities to participate in, a perk for those who love modeling.

Thursday is a day to display that little madness in you; it's called Rag Day, and this one is mostly for all 100-level students, but senior colleagues who want to be part of it still take part. Students dress like they are mad and in rags and move around, taxing whoever they come across for money; some do it for the fun of it and take pictures for memory.

A student I met in his rag day dress.

I met a few on my way to my room; you won't believe these students said they accept transfers ๐Ÿ˜‚. I almost went bankrupt, and I hastened my footsteps so Icouldn get to my room before Imett more students. They were advised to carry their school identity card along to avoid getting arrested or tagged mad for real because some people took it to another level

I reached my room only to keep hearing people knock on doors and peeping through my window. It was another set of students; these ones brought it to the apartment and were no longer on the streets. Thank God they did not knock on my door. I saw creativity, and I was happy at least.

Thanks for reading my post.
