Geurutee Peak, a challenging but fascinating tour

Aceh Jaya area never runs out of beautiful places. One of them is the top of the Geurutee. This tourist spot is located on the border of Aceh Besar and Aceh Jaya. Approximately 66 kilometers from the city of Banda Aceh, Aceh province. Source

Initially this place was only a stopover for motorists crossing the Banda Aceh-Meulaboh road. To get to this place, the riders have to pass through two mountains with winding roads, namely Mount Paro and Mount Kulu. After passing these two mountains, the riders will follow the road that is on the seafront until finally starting to climb this Gerutee mountain.

However, not only as a stopover, this place also offers such a beautiful charm. Yup, the expanse of blue sea stretches directly adjacent to the Indian Ocean. Visitors can also see small islands which add to the beauty of the scenery there. there are many small islands that can be seen from here. Among these islands there is the so-called Keluang Island. This island is not inhabited by humans, from local residents' stories, this island is only inhabited by various types of swallows.

From the top of this peak, visitors can see the village below. but only the roof of the house is visible. Visitors can also see the green trees that are on the beach far below the top of this Geurutee.

In addition to offering stunning views, at the top of this Geurutee there are also stalls lined up along this peak. The stalls here offer a variety of food. The favorite food here is fried noodles added with eggs accompanied by young coconut water, adding to the enjoyment of the visitors being at this peak.
